New Series?

It will be my nieces birthday soon and I was requested to create a work of art with the only requirement being PIGS. I thought of creating the piece with watercolor at first. Recently I moved to a new home and now have my own big art studio space. With the move and new studio I kept invisioning myself painting with my acrylic paints again sitting on my stool infront of my easel. After filtering through all the ideas I decided to paint in the similar style to my next series. I had planned my next series to be watercolor but thought it would be fun to dip back into acyrlic again.

The "flying" pigs with the backdrop of a sunset changing into the night sky in front of stars and moon was born. Just the start of the painting garnered great interest from my facebook followers. Apparently lots of people love pigs or have kids who like pigs too. I find it funny when I do a painting as a gift it always gets the most interest. Luckily this time it's in the style of my new series! I'm not sure what to name it yet but it will feature other packs of animals with similar whimicals backgrounds. Keep your eyes out for some foxes, deer, sheep...etc leaping around in the upcoming future.
